Description

Nabeul is an enchanting coastal town located in the northeast of Tunisia, about 200 km from Tunis, the capital. This city is particularly known for its fine sandy beaches and turquoise waters, but it also offers a rich cultural and historical heritage to discover.

During your stay in Nabeul, you can visit the weekly market, where you can discover local products, such as spices, olives and embroidered cushions. You can also stroll through the narrow and picturesque streets of the old town, where you will find many workshops of artisans and potters.

Among the historical sites not to be missed, there is the Sidi Salem Mosque, built in the 18th century, as well as the Archaeological Museum of Nabeul, where you can discover artefacts dating from Roman and Punic antiquity.

If you want to relax and enjoy nature, you can visit the Oasis of Korbous, a green oasis located a few kilometers from Nabeul. You can also head to Hammamet, a seaside resort known for its lush gardens and lemons.

Finally, if you are looking for an unforgettable cultural experience, you can attend a performance of oriental dance in Tunis, or even visit the Palace of Dar Nejma Ezzahra, a sumptuous residence built in the 18th century.

A little further at 60km, the capital Tunis with its base rich in archeology and heritage will make you want to discover the mosques (Zitouna, Sidi Mehrez…), Bardo museum, archaeological site of Carthage, Medina Tunis, and Sidi Bou saïd with its coffee of delights.

Also, you can visit El Jem the amphitheater; classified by UNESCO as a world heritage, thus the city Kairouan: The Islamic capital of the Arab world, known by the artisanal manufacture (Carpets, the traditional dress ....).
